Our Origin Story

LOKSCO^® LLC created the LOKS^TM product line after frustration in the field. A major hotel chain had invested millions in a "secure" locking system — only to discover it was completely closed. Adding mobile credentials, integrating with new PMS software, or connecting to building automation required ripping out and replacing everything at enormous cost.

That experience sparked a mission: create access control hardware and software that is dependable under real-world pressure while remaining deliberately open to innovation and third-party integrations.

Engineering work began in 2018 in South Florida, with the founding team developing the platform principles behind what would later become LOKSCO^® and the LOKS^TM product line in 2025 and 2026 — serviceability, offline resilience, and future-proof components without sacrificing security.
